Veggie & Cheese Omelette Roll
Ingredients:
1 large egg | 2 tsp chopped bell pepper | 1 tsp chopped scallion | 1 Tbsp cheddar cheese | 1-1 ½ Tbsp breadcrumbs or another binder | Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Spray the egglicious cooking chamber with cooking spray.
- Mix all the ingredients in a bowl and pour into the vertical cooking chamber.
- Insert one skewer in the center of the cooking chamber.
- Cook 5-7 minutes, until the food rises out of the cooking chamber.
Tips and hints for the vertical egg cooker Crack eggs into a bowl or cup, and then pour into the Egglicious cooking chamber. When beating eggs, add breadcrumbs, crushed chips, crushed crackers, wheat germ, or other similar binders. Egg whites will form a film around the top of the cooking chamber as it enters the vertical grill. Use a supporting skewer to gently scrape film and let it fall into cooking eggs. To clean the Egglicious, use the supplied brush and push it to the bottom of the cooking chamber, then move the brush in a twisting motion followed by a reciprocating (up and down) motion. For omelet rolls and similar foods, it is recommended not to fill the cooking chamber more than half its volume, as food will expand. When using a skewer to add food to eggs, it is recommended to insert the skewer until it reaches the bottom of the cooking chamber |
